As we guess that no Sahaj Institution will be prone to inform the rest of the sangha, here is the last article of the STAMPA, of wide diffusion.

Storm on the Yoga community of Cabella Ligure
"We never pushed anybody to disrupt family relationships, indeed." The engineer Aldo Gandolfi, who has been President of the Foundation Shri Mataji Narvala Devi Sahaja Yoga, gracefully and rigorously denies they were made under pressure against a young Sardinian mother who wanted to enter her daughter in the boarding school of Cabella Ligure- until these days where 59 children strayed away, and two inquiry into management of the center of the Ligurian Apennines- but that he had given up because their parents, and the father of small girl had raised opposition with legal action through the courts for minors.

The Observatory against plagiarism
The Dr. Giovanni Pannunzio, founder in 1994 of the Committee, now National Observatory against plagiarism, to which the the parents of the young girl's mother were targeted, said instead that «we took into consideration the case because the woman broke relations with the family which was opposed to her involvement in the yoga Foundation and to the entry to the school.
It was not the first case: «We also saw another story like this in the early ' 90» as well as, more broadly, the Observatory provides support when you suspect ' manipulations for religious reasons and not only».
On the case of Sardinian women (not Sahaj) , the Centre presented a detailed exposed the January 14, 2013: the Piedmont regional authority, the Minister of labour and social policy, the Inps and the juvenile court of Cagliari». Outcome? «No response by institutions. But there are surprised, politicians are indifferent to these situations and, until they burst, damage reception problems (for example: Sahaja Yoga will have a space to Expo 2015, is advertised on their website) and financial support. »
And, in fact, the structure of Cabella should be well known in regional offices, because the institution, in 2012, recalls Dr. Pannunzio, "has granted a contribution of 200 thousand euros to the Foundation yoga». He admits: "True, Gandini he got against an outlay of over one million and 200 thousand euros to renovate an existing building, now used as multifunctional for school children, to seminars, initiatives of meditation and wellbeing and for Ayurvedic cures which take place all year round."

ISPS: questions to Mrs. SADHANA - and answers, march '15
Please find below an open letter from 2nd of March to Sadhana Didi and the "board" from the Brazilian parents at ISPS. A communication was issued on March 14th, which follows.

Dear Sadhana Didi, dear ISPS Board!
We are all yogis from Brazil who intend to send our children to ISPS in 2015. Some of us will send their children for the first time. We believe that the school is the most important – if not unique – option for our children to be educated in Sahaja Yoga.
We send our children virtually around the globe because we trust that they are taken care of first by our Divine Mother and in material world by our brothers and sisters sahaja yogis at all levels. At times, in which our holy Mother is no more available in her physical form to bless us with Her divine advice, we believe it is worth reflecting about how such an important Sahaj institution as ISPS intends to organize itself.
During recent years, our attention has been drawn repeatedly to the steering of the school who, in our eyes, is responsible specifically for the mid and long term development of ISPS and who should promote trend-setting strategic decisions. In our eyes, a dharmic steering of the school not only includes transparency but open and continuous communication with all involved parties.
About 4 weeks before the school starts, we find ourselves increasingly apprehensive about the fact that there has been no official communication about who will assume the role of the principal for this year. Most obviously, we would like to be sure that the next principal is going to be a dedicated and deeply rooted Sahaja Yogi who is able to deal with the numerous challenges of the multinational institution and provide a balanced and safe environment for our children. In our understanding, the principle cannot be made responsible for the school’s operation unless he/she has the power to take the important “executive” decisions including staff and financial issues. We believe that only somebody who is permanently resident in the school can get the proper understanding about what is most important for the every-day benevolence of the dynamic school collective. We still remember the turmoil during the unstable period in 2013 and we would not like to imagine our children going through such a period again.
We also remember that in 2014 there have been several issues involving dorm staff treating some of our children in a depreciative way. We have found out later on that non Sahaja Yogis from the surroundings had been employed who obviously had different agendas. Bearing in mind that the employment of dorm staff might suffer various restrictions, we expect the school to use more discretion and vibrational awareness in selecting those persons who are supposed to take up our parental role during the 9 months.
Concluding, we thank in advance for the promised insights into the school’s financial situation beginning of the 2015 term. We are looking forward to understanding the detailed situation of the school we leave our children for all year long. Given our financial possibilities and the distance from the school, we would like to mention that the recent and unexpected rise in fees poses a huge threat on our medium-term possibilities at ISPS. Do we have to expect further raises again? It is very important for us to be sure that in the coming term, there will enough budget for the needs of our children, such as qualified staff members or good quality and sufficient nutrition for everyone.
Dear Sadhana Didi, respected (but unknown) board, we have witnessed important improvements together with administration of the last two principles the we hope that the school will be able to continue on its trajectory towards a well-organized, balanced, just, transparent and – most important - spiritually uplifting place up in the holy Himalayas. A place very precious to all of us because can receive the blessing to feel the presence of our Holy Mother in our heart and grow spiritually.

We look forward to the commencement of Academic Year 2015 and send our greetings to all members of the ISPS family, parents and children!
We bow down in gratitude to Shri Mataji to have given us this blessing of participation in Her vision of one enlightened, spiritually realised world, above and beyond geographical divisions and borders. (**)
We are very happy to announce our ISPS Team of 2015, with Mrs. Gagan Deep as School Principal. Ms Gagan Deep will lead the team of the Academic and Dorm Departments.
Our Administrative Department will provide all operational support to all aspects to the working of the school.
This year, our particular emphasis will be on academic consolidation and the future plan of merging with the CIE system. This system has an achievable integration level in academics, and will inherently upgrade our academic level to international standards. We do envisage a heightened priority to scholarship and very responsible student participation in 2015.
About our financial status and the basis of the recent fees increase, we seek to inform that our financial income and expenditure status for 2013 and 2014 was as follows:

For all parents present seeking further details of the financial status of the school, a handbook of details of income /expenditure of years 2013 and 2014 will be available locally, in hard copy.
Please find attached a hand book of ISPS School Protocols to articulate and communicate clearly the norms for conduct in school. Please do spend time with your children and consolidate with them norms outlined therein. The schedules are related to Classroom activity, Dorm routines, Campus Security, School catering and Dining Room protocols, and so on.
These values and rules have been articulated to establish standards which are for the well being and maturity of the children. The complete participation of parents is essential for the application and acceptance of these standards in the student community.
Our policy for communication with parents during the academic term 2015 will also be outlined in the above, and all usual processes, including school newsletter about school events, achievements and progress reports will be maintained.
We also wish to announce that the parent participation in the Parent Teacher Association for 2015 will now be on a direct, one to one basis. We seek each parent to communicate with the Principal year long, and address any concerns regarding their child in school.
The School Principal will be the single point contact for all student progress related queries, and she will connect with academic, dorm, medical, and all related departments for all relevant action.
We are very focused on maintaining a high priority on student discipline, ensuring respect for timetables, work schedules and responsibility towards the ISPS ethos.
We look forward to a very active and progressive year, marked by student achievements based on a very dynamic integration of scholarship and Sahaja values.

- Why so much opacity from the WF that even the CC does not have full information?
- How to help the WF in paying a fifty- thousands- euros- fine (50 000€) for infractions in Work-regulations (wages, contracts...), as a culprit cannot beg for donations (=others) for a condemnation?
- What about the Italian Authorities being busy checking every detail about hygiene in bathrooms, hangar and... kitchen?
- How would any sangham pay for anything without a guarantee that any next Management-Team will never be in conditions to create such a mess (amateurism) ever again.???--------------------------------

A GATHERING OF DOCUMENTS ABOUT ISPS crisis...

Though 'No-sangha' has received 5,336 visits until now (14/day), this issue is just getting worse and worse, and harm is nicely coming and going - but from inside.
About ISPS: the one and only truth is that this is not a NGO, nor a Charity, but is registered as a private school. Hence, the parents are not members of some (fancied) fellowship, but CUSTOMERS. As long as this reality is not perceived, and whatever are the vibrations of the place, the relations between the Board and the users will never settle in their proper place. Thank you for your email.
Here is some basic information about the ISPS Society and the financial policy it follows regarding ISPS School:
The ISPS Society does not run the ISPS school on donations. Thus ISPS Society has to to set up a reasonable fee structure which not only takes care of the day to day running operations of the School but also for repairs and maintenance of the infrastructure in place. The Society has embarked only on a single agenda, which is the development of the ISPS School on the directions set in place by Shri Mataji. The infrastructural changes in ISPS School in the last eight years are sourced for any surpluses in the Society funds in those last years. The Society is governed by the laws of the Himachal Pradesh Society Act & to maintain its Section 12A status (Charitable Society) &and it can only carry out activities as mentioned in the ISPS Society byelaws , and the expenditure & the disbursement of surplus amount is governed by this strict law. The audited accounts are submitted to the Government and also to the Registrar of the Societies in Dharamshala every year as per strict legal requirement.
All Society Audited accounts are available to the public at the Registrar's office in Dharamshala and any body desiring a copy can obtain one instantly from this office in Dharamshala.
To directly answer your questions regarding the precise financial statistics of the school,
the budget for 2015, the status in 2014, I would need statistics directly from the ISPS accounts office.
They can provide this after the winter recess, and as mentioned earlier in my emails, I propose to present not only all financial statistics at the beginning of term 2015, but also provide details of the work flow of ISPS and the costs of the facilities being provided for the children attending the school.
Additionally, I had mentioned in the meeting with certain Parent representatives in December2014, where Mary and Marcel were also present, that the school income for 2014 was for the first time in the history of ISPS in deficit. If we had continued with the previous fee structure, and not raised the fees to the current level, the school would be bankrupt within three months of operation in 2015. I trust Mary, Marcel and the parent representatives present conveyed this to all parents.
In my talk with the larger group of parents, at the same end of term, I mentioned that even the latest school fees was down to 30% of other international residential schools on India. Please remember that in 2014 the school attendance was about 187 children. The staff in 2014 was about 140 employees. A simple calculation of the fees per child multiplied by 187 would give you the gross income of the school. Marcel and Mary who were in communication with parents in 2014 would undoubted shared the budget for 2015, which was created by Marcel and sent to me by email, much before we met in December. Does the figure you obtain as above match this budget?
In 2014, we ran into deficit having to sustain all costs, and the wages of 140 employees. Of these, I may mention, the lowest paid are the Class IV employees who work at maintaining the campus and dorms, and the highest paid ones being the top level staff. Solely as a statement of fact, Mary was paid about three times that of even the previous Principal's salary on account of visa regulations for issue of visa to her only as Academic Counselor.
In the meeting at the beginning of term in March 2015, I would seek therefore to present a complete flow chart of the operation of the school, so that the communication is completely clear, and the activities of the school are understood in terms of structure, method, costs and goals.
ISPS is a school which has to run on legal, professional lines. Each policy of the school has to observe the prescribed norms of the state, and each employee has to serve under the prescribed rules of service. As a legally registered institution we cannot run on ad hoc terms, be it policy, operations, or employment methods. In terms of finance and audit, ISPS is subject to internal and external audit and, is open to government vigilance at any time, as it would be in any other country.
It is in this context that i would refer to the term of Mary Kuhn as Principal. In direct communication with parent representatives in December, written communication with Mary even earlier, and as per commonly understood directive principles of foreigner recruitment, Mary could not function as a full fledged Principal. Her visa specifically stated that she is granted a visa as academic counselor on the basis of our application to the same effect. Her subsequent elevation to Principal was an ad hoc arrangement to carry out duties of the Principal. I should suggest that any parent who is unclear about the reason why Mary could not continue as Principal should visit the website for conditions for issue of work visa to foreigners. As found with the tight regulations about work visa issue in all other countries, no work visa can be issued to a foreigner for a job that does not require specific foreign expertise or skill, which is not available in India. The post of Principal of an Indian school, governed by Indian laws and regulations does not fall in this category. Mary's application was presented to the Indian consulate in Toronto on the basis of Academic Counselor for ISPS due to presence of students who come from abroad. Mary's subsequent promotion to the ad hoc Principal by the Society was done as an internal arrangement to enable her to fulfill some of the functions of the school head. She could not , however, perform all operations incumbent on the regular post, on account of her visa status. In fact, Marcel was issued a non-working visa, and was present as an unpaid volunteer, on the basis of Mary's employment at ISPS. He could also not perform , legally, any administrative work/tasks or take any administrative actions.
You will appreciate that ISPS indeed needs a full fledged Principal who can function on an indefinite basis in keeping with the recruitment norms of the government of India. This was indicated to Mary in writing well before the closure of the school, and it was incumbent on the ISPS Society to find and appoint a full fledged Principal, as soon as possible.
In the last month, the Society has been finalizing its decisions about the work force at school, and it is imperative for the Society to generate a fully enabled team to fulfill its goals as an educational institution. We will be in a position to generate a complete chart of employees and their responsibilities by the end February. We will, by then,already have a fully qualified Principal , vice Principal, Dorm and Student Welfare co-ordinator, Academic Counselor, down to the entire teaching and administrative staff. Modules for academic development will be set in place, schedules for co-curricular activities will be formed, and a protocol for communication between the various heads of departments and parents will have been set up, to maintain the welcome positive efforts of Mary and Marcel.
Please note that the standard and quality of the performance of the school, and its legal correctness is of paramount importance to the ISPS Society, on a perpetual basis, and our interests and that of parents intending to send their children to ISPS , are therefore, are completely identical.
The top most interest is the evolution, maturity and spiritual growth of children who attend ISPS. My request was to parents was to communicate their own interaction with children in the holidays, observe their sense of responsibility, mutual respect and collectivity, willingness for sharing work and punctuality, good sleeping and waking patterns.
In my conversation with dorm supervisors in a meeting in December 2014,I was told that children even at the age of 16 have to roused everyday by dorm managers to attend class, that personal hygiene routines were still to be assisted well past the age of 10, and that 'bad language' was used between students, and of course, the staff was not treated with respect. I am truly saddened that even after 'an amazing year', 2014 , some of the children do not reflect the amazing qualities that are sought in them as a result of a Sahaja education, meditation and attending a fully Sahaja institution.
Why?
Please this is the true area of concern for me, and this is the issue I was addressing when we met in December last. Please do keep a continuity of Sahaja protocol and attention, when the children are at home. Please engage with children in a complete way and not allow the holiday season become a break from the normal expectations of discipline. Please also remember that Shri Mataiji located this high school in the Himalayan region of India for a reason. This was not just a refuge from the exposure to the ubiquitous absence of maryadas in mainstream schools of numerous western countries, it was a return to slower paced, calm and serene way of life where Sahaja Dharma played a very formative and evolutionary role. The idea was to develop each child from within, with skills in a non competitive, non-egotistical manner, participating, with responsibility and goodness and living joyfully in an exclusively Sahaja environment. A true home with brothers and sisters, devoted to Sahaja values, and absorbing the golden characteristics Shri Mataji sought to infuse in children.
In my view, your decision to send your child to iSPS rests on various determinants. At the bottom rung of these determinants is the faith, trust and belief in this institution. If this fundamental bond and connection is not experienced, you cannot take the bigger decision to entrust the care of your child to this institution. No amount of statistics and presentations can establish the driving motivation to send your child here at ISPS. It has to be arrived at the deepest spiritual level. Children have been attending this institution when its facilities were nowhere as compared to what is available today. I believe these early graduates are the ones, especially the boys, who have adhered to Sahaja norms and not abjured the Sahaj way of life in later years. Recently, many parents have seen a growing drift in the stability of adolescent children, the media hype, the inclusiveness induced by devices, have all contributed to a much more individualistic adolescent. It is here that we should all, parents and ISPS go hand in hand to secure the direction for our children, so that they are able to preserve their spiritual persona, and not get drowned out in the world they will later face.
For this reason, I keep my focus on the job at hand and have no attention on anything else. That is why I do not see ISPS as anything but one family devoted to a common cause of Shri Mataji's.

The recent happenings at ISPS are causing growing concerns in our sangha. The CC recognizes
having no jurisdiction over Sahaja schools but the matter of the education of our children cannot
be dealt with behind closed doors. The CC has been invited specifically by the growing concern
of some parents, and in the context of conflicting reports, it offers these observations. In
2013 the CC was approached by parents as the state of ISPS left much to be desired with reports
of unacceptable behaviors of some students. In 2014 Marcel & Mary Kuhn were hired as General
Manager and Principal to address these issues and bring the school back in line with the standards of a Sahaj school. According to most parents and students, this seems to have been a success.
The concerns conflicting the parents today are linked to the firing of Marcel & Mary Kuhn and
the reasons behind this development. Slanders started to circulate concerning their record,
their character and their being sahaja yogis. For instance they were accused of racism or embezzlement of funds. The official reason for their departure was alleged visa problems but communications from concerned parents and the Manager himself point that this was not the real issue.
The communications from the former General Manager from the ISPS School and from the representativesof parents, express the sense that yogis have a responsibility to inform themselvesin sending children to a school for the main reason that the school is specifically and genuinelyrun according to Sahaja principles. And that, if they find these conditions wanting, they have a responsibility to communicate to other parents who are ignorant of the facts and would send their children. These communications offer information about the order of events as well as insights into the state of affairs. In his detailed and factual account the General Manager
acknowledges that he was fired because he was inquiring about financial and administrative
handling within the framework of his duties. Other elements of information that surfaced relate
to the state of neglect of the students that preceded their arrival, and the fact that, despite all
calls for transparency and offers of cooperation, the board/society controlling ISPS continues
to proceed in a secretive manner, disregarding standards of accountability that are normally
accepted in private schools in India. We are facing a situation in which neither the parents and
nor even the General Manager and Principal were able to figure out the names of the members
of the society who control major decisions for ISPS.

The other issue that is of great concern for many parents is the substantial increase in school
fees. Without full financial transparency it is hard to know if the increase of fees is justified.
The school should be serving the interests of Sahaja Yoga not the interests of the board/society.
Given the track record of the ISPS board/society and the problems that have persisted over
many years it would seem that one way forward is to have a renewal of membership ISPS management with competent SY administrators and professionals in the education field. ISPS has also on previous occasions attempted to get IBO accreditation but in the end it was dropped
because of the high costs and standards that were very difficult to achieve. Should we not instead be working towards a truly Sahaja education curriculum?
The uncertainty around who controls or owns the school is another point of worry, given the
unwillingness of this group (Board/Society) to provide concrete answers. People feel helpless
to move these entrenched positions and members of the sangha express a growing sense of
frustration. The Central Committee can only repeat the appeal to Sadhana Varma and those
responsible of ISPS to restore confidence in their management, to re-install the spirit of Shri
Mataji and to establish the necessary collaboration and communication with the SY sangha. As
long as the current absence of transparency, cooperation and openness remains, we do not feel
that ISPS meets the standards of a Sahaja institution and consequently the responsibility of
sending children to ISPS can only rest with the parents. We advise parents to continue requesting the Board to come through on the verbal commitment taken after the most dramatic and tragic events of 2013.
Is there still hope that, what has once been a beacon light in the culture of SY, can be maintained
and again be established in its original dharma and spiritual essence?
The Management of ISPS certainly wishes to avoid that, once more, the public authorities of
some countries turn against the parents who send their children to Dharmsala. We urge them
to help if the school is to host children from abroad, as per the wish of its Founder Shri Mataji.
The firing of the Principal and of the general Manager definitely sent the wrong signal. A concrete package of measures must be taken so that transparency, accountability and care for students match standards of good practices accepted in India or in the countries of origin of students.
This is not too much to ask if this school is to remain the school of Shri Mataji.
We pray to Shri Mataji and seek HER divine attention on the matter.

Good day to you and to your collective.
Thank you for your email which we received through Geja. We are relieved to know that there are parents in the sangha that share the same views and sentiments as us and we would like to welcome other parents to join us in our letter. However, this brings us to a dilemma that we need to be careful not to be seen as a recruitment campaign of parents that evolves into a pressure group to SD and GB. Like all concerned parents, we too are looking for answers and direction from the GB but we feel that there is no need to force our way through.
As you know it was not easy to establish a 2-way communications with SD and GB and this can only happen when there is trust and respect for each other which involves a delicate balance. Being Asian and yet westernised, we are fortunate that we have the best of both worlds in understanding the passiveness of Asia and the quick reactions of the West.
The best medium to channel our concerns is actually through the appointed PTA however this may not be viable today as some region’s PTA representatives have “retired” after serving their 2 years term. It was due to this that the Malaysian parents decided to be proactive and put our concerns as a country and collective to have a dialog with SD and GB in the hope of getting things going for all the children especially those who will be taking their board exams soon in the midst of all the disturbing news flying about.
Our approach is to address the school’s issues according to their importance and impact on the children’s’ studies and well being against a time critical frame for e.g. first we are looking at helping the school solve problems affecting the children who are returning to the school in February for their board exams revisions and the newly appointed principal.
We decided to share with the other parents (with the help of Michael Staniforth) our 1st letter to SD and GB with the hope that ISPS parents in other countries will come together united as a country and collective; and evaluate the approach we are taking and perhaps do likewise. If it was not for events like this, very seldom do yogis think about the sangha. For us Malaysians, such calamities and challenges have only brought us closer together as a collective thus teaching us to go beyond our petty problems plaguing us daily and to look at the world and sangha instead. Together we can overcome our limitations and difficulties to face bigger challenges that maybe Mother has in store for us in future for humanity and the sangha.
We can be an effective voice together if we put our concerns to SD and GB constructively by country. If we share these communications and replies with everyone then clarity, awareness and satisfaction will eventually result. By doing this, we believe slowly the immediate and easier problems affecting our children’s well being can be addressed to and resolved leaving the “heavy weights” which are more difficult to untangle and take a longer time to be addressed to in phases for all parties. Shouting everything at a go may not result in anything being solved at all if it falls on deaf ears.
We hope that we did not disappoint you and the parents in your collective by declining their request or that we are selfish not to share our letter with others. We feel its best that each country expresses its concern collectively rather than rallying behind any one country because our needs and aspirations can differ sometimes. We can however make our communications and any replies received that are important available to the parents in your collective if we can have a point of contact email address to forward to as we are currently doing for Vietnam and Taiwan. We will in our next communiqué (if given the opportunity to do so) inform SD and GB that several other parents in the sangha also share the same view as us in Malaysia for their knowledge.
We have attached herein the reply we have received from SD recently and our 2nd letter to her. We hope that this news will be of some comfort to the ISPS parents in your collective.

Dear Madam Sadhana Didi,
We, the Malaysian parents of ISPS children humbly thank you for your time and effort replying to our email and addressing our concerns that have been bothering us. .
However we would like to bring to your attention 2 key immediate concerns which are:-
1) PRINCIPAL FOR 2015
From your email, we are relieved to note that a new principal has been appointed and would be reporting for duty on the 1stweek of February. It is only natural for us as parent to want to know more about our new principal as he or she will be carrying a big responsibility to steer the ISPS ship safely to shore this year. In earnest, we would like to request from your good self the name and if possible the profile of the principal that will be joining ISPS.
2) AVAILABILTY OF TEACHERS PREPARING STUDENTS FOR BOARD EXAMS IN FEBRUARY
The parents of children sitting for Year 10 board exams have been receiving emails from ISPS Office updating them on the status of the school in preparation to welcome the students back to school in February. However, we are deeply concern about the list of teachers who will NOT be there to help our children with the revision. From the emails received, the following subject teachers are not returning in February:-
a. Sir Shankar (subject : Literature)
b. Sir Ruben (subject : Physical Education)
c. Ms Lakshmi (subject : Geography)
d. Ms Geeta (subject : Hindi)
e. Sir Ashwani (subject : Biology)
f. Ms Rekha (subject: History)
This means that 6 out of 9 subject teachers (66%) will not be there at the school. We assume the situation is the same for the children taking Year 12 board exams. We are worried about this situation as our children will be on their own; without any teachers’ guidance. Will the school be able to get replacement teachers in such short notice, who are they and will they have the necessary experience and skills to guide and prepare our children for the exams? Madam Sadhana, please help us to resolve this short coming as time is of essence. Our failure to do the best we can to prepare our children for the board exams will impact on their future.
We appreciate greatly the communication that we have established with you and the school’s governing body. For the benefit of the other parents in the other countries especially those taking the board exams, we are extending your email to the other parents as like any worried parent; getting news about the development of the school from persons in authority helps to ease the anxiety and perhaps for some even frustration trying to understand what is being planned and done for their children.
We believe that this goes a long way to bring back the confidence in parents as timely and clear information is viewed very important especially in the West.
We hope that you will continue to welcome and allow us to voice our concerns and recommendations to you and the school’s governing body as a partner to the school. Thank you for your email.
We are beginning 2015 in ISPS with a completely well articulated structure for teaching, dorm life and administration. A comprehensive communication will be sent out from the Principal's office in the first week of February. The details therein will cover all your queries about the security and welfare of our students, as well as the staffing of all relevant teaching positions, and all school facilities. We naturally seek to consolidate on all positive steps taken last year in the school, and integrate these measures in our systems and administration. Further, a communication protocol will also be clearly outlined so that each parent is enabled to receive information directly about their child, the academic performance, extra curricular activities and general well being from dedicated staff. We look forward to a more interactive relationship between parents and staff members. We definitely seek to emphasise discipline in all areas, and will seek application of cyber safety policies very rigorously.
For the immediate arrangements for students who will be arriving to take the examinations in February, all usual facilities and supervision will be available. The details are being forwarded to you directly from the ISPS office administration, with the names of all the staff on site.
Our concern for the wellbeing of ISPS is completely mutual, and for me, the ISPS community is one large family fulfilling the vision of Shri Mataji. Each child who graduates from this school should be the embodiment of the spiritual values that Shri Mataji has taught us.
While your children are still at home, I would request you to encourage them to develop and maintain collective principles, respect for elders, self reliance in personal care, punctuality and speech which reflects their Sahaja qualities. I particularly would be concerned about use of pure language, a good, self dependent, waking and sleep schedule, and dignity and consideration to all family members. This protocol should be continuity between home and school, where the school staff should also be looked up to and respected as family members, and be greeted with equal respect. Shri Mataji has emphasized the importance of respect to teachers, in keeping with the Gurukul traditions, and it would be only possible if this protocol is recognized globally.
As you will appreciate, a good example is the most effective method of imparting values to children, and we hope that the children of ISPS will be influenced by the most mature, responsible and Sahaja examples of their peers.

Chronological account by parents of recent events in I.S.P.S.
Jai Shri Mataji,
It is with great sadness that we see all facts around the events concerning ISPS and Mary and Marcel have become diluted. Each day this grows worse and it seems innocent parents are confused and truly lack information and clarity upon which to base their decisions regarding their children. The whole world politics of our Sahaj sangha are represented in this Mahabharata and so it is important to be clear and as factual as possible.
Here is the chronological series of events for your information and clarity.
• For years, many parents have wondered about the actual state of the campus of ISPS and whether school fees were in fact being used to make improvements.
• In 2013 the CC and the Word Foundation asked Sadhana Didi for accountability and financial transparency in ISPS. This was blocked and refused seemingly prohibiting open communication.
• CC and the World Foundation asks for an independent evaluation - in order to help the management of the school. This is also blocked.
• Around this time the CC and the World Foundation launch a parental survey.
• The Australians then launch another parental survey - it was very detailed - these detailed results were not published or made available.
• Miss Neena Talpade suddenly resigns, without explanation. She is heard to have asked for financial transparency and to be able to use finances for the school. Parents hear that she
is accused by the family of stealing money from ISPS, wanting power and paying herself a huge salary. To parents this seemed unbelievable.
• The school is left without a principle and in the hands of the Vice Principle Miss Jyoti. It is now clear that in this period the school experienced; indifferent staff who were not present to supervise children, romantic student relationships, teachers slapping children, swearing, boys verbally abusing girls, drinking, drugs and even student consumption of pornography in the school.
• Our dear Grace, who was a completely healthy child tragically passes away.
• Our sangha is deeply shocked and many parents remove their children (approx.100) from the school.
• It is officially announced that Mary Kuhn will take the position as principle and Marcel Kuhn will be the general manager of ISPS with a contract for 2 years. Some parents are calmed by their appointment and decide to keep their children in the school, expecting Marcel to be able to fully see the finances and ‘manage’ ISPS.
• Sadhana praises Mary and Marcel and shows they have a good rapport. Sadhana actively charges Marcel with the task of reducing the staff of ISPS. She specifically mentions that Miss Joyti should be let go of. With the loss of 100 students, ISPS begins the academic year of 2014 with a ratio of one staff for every 2 children.
• The PTA are made aware that there will be a reduction of staff and an increase in the school fees (to be decided).
• At the drop off parents are told that there will be financial transparency and accountability and that Marcel will communicate about this to all parents.
• Mary and Marcel ask for financial transparency and information about board and society members.
• Marcel sends out a financial email with the preliminary financial status of the school (as far as he could see but could not see everything). This statement clearly shows that the school made a profit of over 200,00 USD and on a separate society account had a balance of over 500,00 USD. However, no one seems to notice what is indicated in this document.
• Mary and Marcel address many issues in the school and parents are very happy with feedback that they get from their children and communication with Mary and Marcel themselves.
• Mary and Marcel find using finances in the school impossible. The accounts seem blocked by Sir Vikas who has the legal signatory for the funds with Miss Nina. Despite attempts to collaborate and communicate with them, it is blocked. They refuse to show them anything to do with accounts or disclose who the governing body and society members are. They penly say that they cannot give this information without asking the board or society for it.Marcel asks them to ask for this permission at the beginning of the year and at the end of the year, no information is given.
• Mary and Marcel spend her salary and their own personal money on the the running of the school. Down to small details such as footsoak towels, they are unable to access funds and so use their own. They are discreet and do this from their hearts and have not made this fact common knowledge at all.
• As planned, Marcel announces the termination of some staff members of ISPS.
• Over the year Sir Vikas becomes increasingly hostile and volatile. He starts a staff campaign against Mary and Marcel, accusing them of being racist. At the pick up many parents hear that some staff members had planned for Marcel to be beaten up.
• Press get hold of terminations and turn up at ISPS. Sir Vikas calls Munish Pande and revokes Marcel’s termination letters.
• Communication with Sir Vikas deteriorates. He writes to the PTA and accuses Mary and Marcel of racism. This accusation of racism made the conflict seem to be ‘personal’ when in fact it was about who in ISPS is privy to financial information and the ability to use finances for the school.
• Sir Vikas looses his temper frequently and his bad behaviour is ongoing (including throwing a computer at a staff members head). At least one staff member leaves because of him and many staff members are scared of him.
• Mary and Marcel then lay 2 conditions down for them to continue at ISPS:
(1) they request that Mary be given the right as principle to use some of the finances for the school and
(2) they request that Sir Vikas and Miss Joyti be let go as they do not seem to have any positive interest in ISPS and are blocking its progression.
• The GB proposes a lot of changes for the school, many of which undermine decisions that Mary and Marcel have taken. The GB proposes to:
1. increase school fees:
Fees increased accordingly (compared to the current fee structure 2014-2015)
Increase of JUNIOR SEMI SENIOR SENIOR Imprest money (adminstrative charge)

2. open up admissions for all classes (When Mary had suggested this stop at class 6 as many children have trouble psychologically and academically adjusting).
3. Re-open classes 11 & 12 (when the decision had already been taken and announced to parents that these two years would stop. It was clear that ISPS staff themselves wanted these years to stop, as they could not manage to safe guard these teenagers or prevent them from rebelling).
4. Introduce the IB programme (International Baccalaureate) - the most expensive educational programme in existence.
• Mary and Marcel ask their questions and express their concerns to the GB in relation to these changes and ask for more information as they would need to be able to answer parents questions and concerns.
• The PTA discuss their concerns and agree to write a letter to the GB asking for clarification.
Parental views are collected.
• The PTA polarise into a conflict. Russia, Europe and Asia who would like to write a letter to the GB and India, Australia and America who oppose this and attempt to stop this happening. Their position being, that it is Mary and Marcel who should express their concerns.
• Parental concerns and a letter to the GB are given to Mary and Marcel to pass onto the GB along with their own concerns.
• Mary and Marcel are given no clarification, but are told that all issues, questions, concerns and terminations will be addressed in December when the GB come to the school, meet and address and explain all changes to the parents.
• Mary and Marcel are placed in the difficult situation of having to console parents whose children have to leave ISPS because of the changes and the late communication of them.• Sadhana writes a response to Mary and Marcel which undermines them and their position in ISPS. She suggests that Mary's position was always ‘ad hoc’. She suggests that Mary’s visa is a legal issue. Mary was told to apply for a visa as academic counsellor since the salary is less and more in tune of what ISPS can afford. Later the society issued her a contract where they gave her the position of principle. To Mary’s knowledge this is legal andhe Foreigners Registration Office seemed to confirm this. Despite this, Sadhana insists there is a legal issue and writes clearly that Mary and Marcel should pray to find another rinciple asap.
• Nicola Locke, the mother of Grace, writes a heartfelt and Sahaj plea to Sadhana and the GB/society - which does not get a response.
• Upon arrival parents are asked not only to pay the imprest money upfront before the parents meeting with the GB (40,000 rupees per child) but are suddenly asked to pay the difference in the one off, initial school registration fee which has been increased by 10,000 rupees per child, without prior announcement to the parents.
• Mary, Marcel, the PTA and many parents hope to have many questions, concerns and worries addressed at ISPS in December.
• Parents become active and try to find out who in fact really is on the GB and Society of ISPS. It becomes clear that these members are: Sadhana, Munish Pande, Ashok Aggraval, Mr. Kumar and Hari Gaikwad - as well as a strong influence from Yogi Mahajan.
• There are many rumours flying around the parent body and Marcel calls a parents meeting up at ISPS. He is calm and explains that there were staff who would need to be let go. He explains that Mary and himself have laid down 2 conditions in order for them to continue to continue at ISPS. A parent questions this and mentions that the advertisement for a new principle is already in circulation in India. The parental reaction is that they would like to start a petition - as a vote of confidence in Mary and Marcel. Marcel himself attempts to stall this parental initiative.
• The PTA meeting with Sadhana takes place. She speaks about Sahaj values, cosmic energy, HHSM’S vision, creating a school of excellence and speaks of Mary and Marcel as if they are not in the room. She mentions the legal visa issue but makes no mention of her decision to fire them. All concerns and questions about fees, finances, admissions and the continuation of Mary and Marcel are ignored and dodged.
• The governing body address to the parents takes place in the form of Sadhana giving a speech to the parents. She clearly states that we are one family and need to unite and work together and that anyone who does not do this is working against Sahaj, is negative and is out of HHSM’S vision. She states that the society are a cohesive and united group and that the accounting department of the school should not be questioned. She states that to do so would be immature.
• A parent humbly asks Sadhana about the continuation of Mary and Marcel and the legal explanations given. A yogi who is a foreigner and who has worked in India offers to help assist in sorting this ‘visa issue' out. Someone requests a collective bandhan for the removal of the visa issue. Ramesh Manochar intervenes and changes the bandhan to be for ‘whatever is best for the school’. He then proceeds to give a speech about how ISPS is the prized jewel of Sahaj and we should not allow the negativity to capture it.
• Mary and Marcel still believe that they are set to return next year.
• Parents hear of a campaign to deface Marcel at the school. Ramesh has been heard saying that Marcel is not a yogi and he does not recognize Shri Mataji. Further campaigns are heard of from within India, Australia and America.
• A huge majority of parents are overwhelmingly pleased with the vibrational and sahaj state of the children and of I.S.P.S. It is clear that Mary and Marcel have loved and respected the children and gained their love and respect in return. There is a tremendous love and family unity that is palpable. As a vote of full confidence of the parents in Mary and Marcel, a petition to express this is started.
• As soon as the parents and children have left the campus, Mary is notified of the termination of her position and told that she should not return to ISPS.
• Parents quickly understand that they have actively been deceived whilst up at ISPS and that the decision to fire Mary and Marcel had already been taken prior to the pick-up date.
• The parent petition, which calls for transparency and good governance and which got 115 signatures from all over the world • Within a week or so, all staff members who were supportive of Mary and Marcel or who have spoken against Munish Pande or Sadhana are fired.
In order to complete this letter, we are also attaching a legal summary of the current setup of the ISPS governing body/society structure - as we understand it. This document calls for a transparent and good governance structure and concludes that both is currently not present at ISPS.

THE REAL PROBLEM IN ISPS - Marcel's letter
Dear ISPS Parents,
As you know by now, Mary was relieved from her duties as principal of ISPS a day or two after children and parents left the school at pick-up time in December. The cause of her termination that was given orally was a work visa issue, but there was no reason written in the official termination letter she received around Christmas. It is my full understanding that Mary's work visa could easily be extended, however.
There was absolutely no open communication from the GB/Society beforehand about their intention to let Mary go at the end of the year. Moreover Mary did an excellent job as principal and most parents would agree to this (as well as the students themselves; the best and truest judges to this statement.) The real problem at ISPS are the GB/Society members who do not seem to really care about the subtle and spiritual evolution of ISPS. Otherwise why would they fire a very good principal, whose priority was/is vibrations? I feel that ISPS can't improve sustainably on the governance side with the current GB/Society members.
Why don't we use vibrations? But somehow the GB/Society does not want to do that when it comes to staffing and/or student admissions......all but one or two of the foreign staff have now been fired from the school (is that Sahaj?) and most of the (good) staff who were employed by Mary and myself are also being fired (is that how Sahaja Yogis would behave?). Could it be that the GB/Society members are not Sahaja Yogi (nis)? Why would we allow non-yogis to decide the fate, future and progression of a Sahaj school?
Therefore I humbly encourage each and every parent to use their own (divine) discretion whether or not to send their child(ren) to ISPS in 2015. I'm sending my child to Cabella school where the collective governance is not only well-known, but also clearly following Sahaj practices and principles, including making all financial information clear and available to all.
We all hope that Sadhana Didi will stay true to her words and send out an email to all parents soon, giving an accurate picture about ISPS finances (including the ISPS Society accounts) as well as a list of ISPS Society members. Let's at least be honest with everyone. Open and transparent communication with all parents would be the minimum one should expect from the GB/Society.
It is my hope and prayer that the New Year will bring lots of positive changes all over the (Sahaj) world. The children are the future of Sahaj and therefore of this entire world. Mary and I have experienced, over nine months last year, their great promise, great joyfulness, great openness and love, and we feel, along with you all, no doubt, the responsibility of their proper Sahaj education.
In this sense I'm wishing you ALL the best and a Happy New Year.

You will read, and shiver, about what real negativity is. Fake Kalki. And mesmerism.
Now, the issue is not about closing ISPS, but whether the customers of this private institution can take control on the spiritual/Sahaj part of it fr the sake of their children.

once again we are writing to you to point out that the REAL PROBLEM in ISPS is actually the "inner circle" of the Australian collective who are playing a very manipulative and cunning game!
They are convinced that Sir CP and Sadhana are divine incarnations and chosen by Shri Mataji to continue Shri Mataji's work. They are very aggressively trying to convert Yogis to their belief system.
Their puppeteer is a "Yogi" called Hari Gaikwad who is based in Sydney, but originally from Pune. His father was a Kalki imposter who started a cult within SY Pune and was thrown out of SY by Shri Mataji for life time. Shri Mataji forbid Hari to ever speak with his father again who openly proclaimed in front of his followers that he is stronger than Shri Mataji. We don't know if Hari has followed these instructions of Shri Mataji, but somehow the negativities of Hari's father might now be acting thru Hari.
As Australian Yogini Deb Keetley wrote on FB some time ago: "There is not a thing in ISPS or SY Australia which moves without Hari's say"
Hari is extremely clever and never comes in the foreground, but controls everything from the background and lets other people speak or act according to his instructions. You might have heard also that SY Australia has become very totalitarian. Yogis are supposed to accept all council decisions blindly and not to think for themselves. Those who have dared to speak up - eg John Noyce - have been thrown out of SY. These problems have all the same root cause.
A very senior and deep Australian Sahaja Yogi has also told that Hari was on paylist of Sir CP and he is now probably on paylist of Sadhana. So his schemes are not that selfless at all, but very power- and money-oriented.

Shri Mataji, please enlighten and rescue all Yogis who have fallen into the maya.

ISPS / "Mary and Marcel U're fired!"

Most respected Sadhana Didi,
Prior to the arrival of Sir Marcel and Ms. Mary Kuhn, we, the undersigned parents of the ISPS students, were aware that the situation with respect to the wellbeing of the children at the school was difficult.
However, since the arrival of this couple as Principal and General Manager we find that things have greatly improved and the entire school has opened up like a flower.
We are greatly impressed by their work and we strongly believe that Ms. Mary and Mr. Marcel’s active participation in the overall activities of the school are the main reason for such a great improvement.
Therefore, in order to ensure the continuity of a satisfactory school performance in ISPS, we would like to request you to reaffirm the position of Ms. Mary as the Principal and Mr. Marcel as the General Manager of the school.
Please note that the undersigned parents would not guarantee their support in the hiring of any new Principal.
Furthermore, we believe that Ms. Mary and Mr. Marcel should be empowered with all the necessary authority to look after the well-being of the children and the school by allowing them to be involved in the human resources management of the school.
This should involve having the ability to recruit and let go personnel.
Finally, there is a great concern regarding the significant increase in school fees.
Therefore, we would like to request a plan outlining the use of the additional funds.
In addition, we request that all financial information be transparent and disclosed to Ms. Mary and Mr. Marcel for them to share with the parents on a regular basis.
We kindly request your feedback regarding the above mentioned matters at your earliest convenience, as your response will affect the parents’ decision regarding the students’ return for the 2015 school year.
May the school continue to grow in Sahaja Yoga and continue to benefit from the teachings and blessings of our Holy Mother Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi.

As an ex-student who attended for 7 years and graduated 10th class board exams, I know first hand the ups and downs, and challenges faced at the school.
We have two children of our own now who we intend to send in a couple years, and are committed to supporting the school to be the best place it can be.
I have also worked with Mary and Marcel and know that they are both Sahaja Yogis with integrity and a balanced approach to doing the best job that they can, whether it is to establish Sahaja Yoga in new parts of the world, as they have, or to support the improvement of the Sahaja Yoga sangha, no matter whichever country they were residing in, at the time.
All my support goes to them and the school to find a solution to overcome whatever obstacles may be present today.
I know as a student that having consistency and retention in the school management and staff, always improved our experience.

I will not send my children to ISPS simply because the academic level of the school is not good. And talking with teachers, this year academics were neglected even more. ISPS is not just a refuge for children where they stay away from bad influence of western or westernized societies but it is also a place where they exercise their enlightened attention to excel in academics and live in a good community of Sahaj Yogis behaving respectfully and lovingly with others. Good academics should be a simple by-product of good environment at the school and should be used as a tool to keep children engaged. Senior teachers and academic counsellor were sure that this years academic results of board exams will further prove this to be true. Mary and Marcel might be good leaders but i hear not so good reports from academics side and also from staff management side. They presence at ISPS has been to provide a leadership only and not a direction. Of course the communications have been good from isps since they arrived but i expect more.

In fact many international schools are run by non-Indians legally without incident.

Open Letter to Sadhana Didi

Most respected Sadhana Didi,
Prior to the arrival of Sir Marcel and Ms. Mary Kuhn, we, the undersigned parents of the ISPS students, were aware that the situation with respect to the wellbeing of the children at the school was difficult.
However, since the arrival of this couple as Principal and General Manager we find that things have greatly improved and the entire school has opened up like a flower.
We are greatly impressed by their work and we strongly believe that Ms. Mary and Mr. Marcel’s active participation in the overall activities of the school are the main reason for such a great improvement.

Therefore, in order to ensure the continuity of a satisfactory school performance in ISPS, we would like to request you to reaffirm the position of Ms. Mary as the Principal and Mr. Marcel as the General Manager of the school.
Please note that the undersigned parents would not guarantee their support in the hiring of any new Principal.
Furthermore, we believe that Ms. Mary and Mr. Marcel should be empowered with all the necessary authority to look after the well-being of the children and the school by allowing them to be involved in the human resources management of the school.
This should involve having the ability to recruit and let go personnel.
Finally, there is a great concern regarding the significant increase in school fees.

In addition, we request that all financial information be transparent and disclosed to Ms. Mary and Mr. Marcel for them to share with the parents on a regular basis.
We kindly request your feedback regarding the above mentioned matters at your earliest convenience, as your response will affect the parents’ decision regarding the students’ return for the 2015 school year.
May the school continue to grow in Sahaja Yoga and continue to benefit from the teachings and blessings of our Holy Mother Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi.

Please support Mary and Marcel who have made a difference to the students and school at ISPS and are committed to their roles at the school. a
As an ex-student who attended for 7 years and graduated 10th class board exams, I know first hand the ups and downs, and challenges faced at the school.
We have two children of our own now who we intend to send in a couple years, and are committed to supporting the school to be the best place it can be.
I have also worked with Mary and Marcel and know that they are both Sahaja Yogis with integrity and a balanced approach to doing the best job that they can, whether it is to establish Sahaja Yoga in new parts of the world, as they have, or to support the improvement of the Sahaja Yoga sangha, no matter whichever country they were residing in, at the time.
All my support goes to them and the school to find a solution to overcome whatever obstacles may be present today.
I know as a student that having consistency and retention in the school management and staff, always improved our experience.

I will not send my children to ISPS simply because the academic level of the school is not good. And talking with teachers, this year academics were neglected even more. ISPS is not just a refuge for children where they stay away from bad influence of western or westernized societies but it is also a place where they exercise their enlightened attention to excel in academics and live in a good community of Sahaj Yogis behaving respectfully and lovingly with others. Good academics should be a simple by-product of good environment at the school and should be used as a tool to keep children engaged. Senior teachers and academic counsellor were sure that this years academic results of board exams will further prove this to be true. Mary and Marcel might be good leaders but i hear not so good reports from academics side and also from staff management side. They presence at ISPS has been to provide a leadership only and not a direction. Of course the communications have been good from isps since they arrived but i expect more.
